The club has been rowing in the Bristol Harbourside for 50 years, rowing and sculling have been active sports in the area for much longer. Its roots are in the docker's social clubs in the era when the harbourside was a working dock, and has in recent years evolved into a highly successful and competitive club.

Lights on after dark
Every boat that goes out after dark must have two white lights on the bow and one on the stern.
The Harbourmaster has the power to ban our boats from the water if this rule is not followed, and has been known to do so in the past.
Members must provide their own lights, but bulldog clips and cable ties for attaching lights to the boats are in the cupboard.
Please do not use tape as this damages the boats.
